These Terms of Service govern your use of the MediReco website, app, and related features. By using MediReco, you agree to these terms.
Important medical disclaimer
MediReco is a record management and organization tool. It is not a medical provider and does not provide medical advice, diagnosis, treatment, or emergency services. Always consult qualified healthcare professionals for medical decisions.
1. What MediReco provides
MediReco helps users store, organize, review, and share personal medical records. Features may include report uploads, summaries, history views, doctor-share views, medication tracking, profile management, and backup/sync options. Features may vary by plan, region, device, or beta status.
2. Accounts and eligibility
You may need to sign in (for example, using Google) to access some features. You are responsible for your account activity and for keeping your device and sign-in access secure. If you manage records for family members, you represent that you have permission to do so.
3. Your content and data ownership
You retain ownership of the files, medical records, metadata, and other content you add to MediReco. You grant MediReco only the limited rights needed to operate the features you use (for example, syncing metadata, generating summaries, or writing backup files to your selected storage mode).
4. Acceptable use
You agree not to misuse MediReco. Prohibited behavior includes:
- Using the product for unlawful purposes
- Attempting to bypass plan limits, authentication, or security controls
- Interfering with service availability or attempting to reverse engineer the service
- Uploading malware or harmful content
- Managing or sharing patient records without authorization
5. Backups, sync, and user responsibility
MediReco may support local-only storage, Google Drive backup, and/or encrypted cloud sync depending on plan and configuration. You are responsible for confirming that your backups are working and for securely retaining any recovery information required to restore encrypted data.
6. AI-assisted and automation features
MediReco may provide OCR, extraction, categorization, summarization, translation, or assistant features. These outputs may contain errors. You are responsible for reviewing all outputs before using them for care, billing, legal, insurance, or administrative decisions.
7. Plans, limits, pricing, and beta access
MediReco may offer free, paid, invite-only, or beta access. Features and limits (including report, profile, device, and AI usage limits) may vary by plan. During beta, plan availability and feature access may change without notice.
8. Availability and changes
We may update, improve, suspend, or discontinue features to maintain security, reliability, or product quality. We do not guarantee uninterrupted service, compatibility with all devices, or error-free operation.
9. Warranties and limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, MediReco is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis, without warranties of any kind. We are not liable for medical decisions made using the app, or for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages.
You remain responsible for maintaining backups and verifying data before sharing or relying on it.
10. Suspension and termination
We may suspend or restrict access if we reasonably believe you violated these terms, created a security risk, or misused the service. You may stop using MediReco at any time.
11. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms as the product evolves. Continued use of MediReco after updates means you accept the revised terms.
